This model is called the Elmwood and it is our interpretation of the classic Chelsea boot style. The Elmwood is made with Gore-Tex on the sides of the ankles. We use a tighter weave of this material to help keep the ankle in place. This model is made with our full vegetable tanned Spanish leather in a Tobacco color. This article is a full vegetable tanned leather and has an oiled finish to it which contributes to an initial darker color appearance.
Grade
1 - Update 4/7/2026: Pairs listed are a combination of boots which are either try-on or between try-on and sample condition. Therefore they are priced in between. This is because these pairs came from the factory floor from size grading but also were exchanged a few times from prior customers each pair, or tried on at the factory for sizing during grading. As a result of these instances, there naturally might be some scuffs from handling/trying on which will be buffed on each pair prior to order shipment.
Our build focuses on enhanced breath-ability and shock absorption in a more natural way by using leather components. Additional build information along with cutaways can be found under our Craft + Build section.
