The Richmond - Moss Rambler (618) Factory Seconds

Boot and Leather (618 Last)

This is our plain cap toe boot pattern called the Richmond. Our Richmond models as of May 2025 will be built with a double upper leather cap toe design. One may perhaps think of this as an Allen pattern with an added extra layer of upper leather over the toebox for the cap toe, as opposed to simply joining the vamp leather to a single piece of cap toe leather. For this set of pairs in the November drop, the upper pattern was slightly re-designed to have a mildly lower cut height along with a lower and wider heel counter pattern. The last is still the same 618 last.

This Richmond model is made with Rambler leather from the famous Charles F. Stead tannery in their Moss colorway. Moss is a very dark green color with plenty of texture and depth. Rambler is known for its depth of color and leather texture. Much like kudu, no two pairs will be exactly the same. Since Rambler is heavily waxed, any boot wax or leather balm can be used to condition this leather over time.

Grade

1 - All pairs listed have general production irregularities to include instances of sewing, slightly skewed toecap stitching and uneven eyelets primarily. Example pictures have been taken in the warehouse of this batch and have been provided here to serve as a benchmark for what can be expected.
Our build focuses on enhanced breath-ability and shock absorption in a more natural way by using leather components. Additional build information along with cutaways can be found under our Craft + Build section.
